Founding Moments
For Cornerstone CEO and owner Ron Carnwath, general contracting is a family tradition. Ron learned everything there is to know about business from his father and grandfather. In 2001, Ron started his own business and founded Cornerstone, initially focusing on residential remodeling and general contracting. Sensing a more significant opportunity, he expanded the company to commercial construction in 2004.

Over the past 15 years, Cornerstone has grown into one of the most trusted general contractors across the Midwest, Northeast, and Atlantic regions. Backed by a proven team of experienced builders and craftsmen, the company brings decades of expertise to every project.
