Overview
The Indian Hills basement buildout turned unfinished space into three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a game room, a gym, a family room and a full bar. The finished layout created room for everyday living, guests and entertaining within the existing home.
The Challenge
The team needed to deliver a substantial basement transformation within a tight budget and a three-month schedule. With the family continuing to live upstairs, coordinating construction and keeping disruption to a minimum were also priorities.
Our Approach
Cornerstone self-performed the framing, ductwork and suspended drywall ceilings. Project manager Seth Ursell worked with superintendents Doug Meyer and Brent Cason to coordinate the buildout. Hands-on work and close coordination helped the team manage costs and keep construction on schedule.
The Results
The basement buildout was completed in three months, on time and on budget. The family gained 2,800 square feet of finished space for living and entertaining, with disruption kept to a minimum while they remained in the home.
